1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — do much the same job. They let a site remember a preference, keep a session secure, or measure how the site is used.

This policy explains how Apex Align Agency uses those technologies on apexalign.co. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information more broadly.

2. How we use them today

We keep this site deliberately light. apexalign.co is a single-page marketing site with an application form, and it does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party profiling.

What may be stored in your browser is limited to:

• Strictly necessary storage set by our hosting and security infrastructure to serve pages, balance load and protect against abuse.
• Technical storage used by our form provider when you submit the partnership application, to complete the submission and limit spam.
• Local preferences, such as remembering a display setting, kept in your browser and not sent to us.

We do not sell any information collected this way, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

3. Categories of cookies

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to work — delivering pages, keeping the connection secure and preventing abuse. These cannot be switched off through our site, and under EU rules they do not require consent.

Functional

Remember choices you make so the site behaves the way you expect on your next visit. Blocking them may make parts of the site less convenient but will not break it.

Analytics

Help us understand which pages are read and where visitors drop off. We do not run analytics cookies at present. If we add analytics, we will update this policy and, where consent is legally required, ask for it before any non-essential cookie is set.

Advertising

Used to target or measure ads across sites. We do not use them.

4. Third-party services

Some storage is set by the providers we rely on rather than by us directly:

• EmailJS — delivers your application form submission to our inbox and applies anti-abuse checks.
• Our hosting and content delivery provider — serves the site and applies security and performance measures.
• Embedded or linked third parties, such as LinkedIn or a document link, which set their own cookies once you follow the link and are governed by their own policies.

5. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings — view what is stored, delete it, or block cookies entirely. The controls sit under Privacy or Site settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and your browser’s help pages describe the exact steps.

Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site, including the application form, from working correctly. Clearing cookies also removes any preferences you had saved.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. Because we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, there is nothing on this site for those signals to switch off. If that ever changes, we will honour the Global Privacy Control signal where the law requires it and describe how here.

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this page whenever the technologies we use change — for example, if we introduce analytics. The revised version is posted here with a new “last updated” date. Questions are welcome at justin@apexalign.co.
